Paintballs Can Hurt, So Get Quality Paintball Gear

If you enjoy the sport of paintball, it can be a lot more enjoyable when you have the right clothes and paintball equipment. Although clothes are not going to make you more competitive, they can make the game safer and a lot more fun. If you're familiar the sport and know what to purchase, that helps a lot. There are many qualified experts to consult with at brick and mortar paintball stores as well as online paintball stores. The most important piece of equipment to purchase for this rugged, tough, action-packed game is a good pair of goggles. Don't try to substitute ski goggles or any other type of durable glass product. Paintballs travel at an enormous speed and you need industry-approved models that will protect your eyes.

Try to cover as much bare skin as possible as you are less likely to get hurt by paintballs when they hit. Long pants, long-sleeved shirts and even gloves will allow you to roll, crouch, slide, and do all the other essential moves safely. Paintball gear that is suited for the sport and, in most cases, especially designed for it, are your best bet. Wearing baggy outfits will help deflect some of the energy off of paintballs and will make them less likely to bruise or break on you. Unless it is extremely hot outside, it's a good idea to wear an extra pair of leggings or long johns and even a long-sleeved undershirt to protect against paintball gun assault. Remember that camouflage is one of the best defenses against your enemies. Always wear dark clothes, and also dark on the bottom of your shoes, too. If your opponent takes five minutes to stare at a tree limb before they figure out it's a person or not, you know you're wearing the right clothing!

A good paintball supply store should be able to offer you everything you need in the way of camouflage equipment. Try to avoid clothing with buttons or zippers for any hard surfaces. Paintballs can break very easily against these types of surfaces. Wearing good, tough shoes is essential when you play the sport of paintball. Try to wear a pair of rugged running shoes or sneakers that you're not afraid of getting dirty. They will also offer you solid ankle protection and good traction. Wear shoes that have very good traction, as you could lose the game if you slip and fall everywhere. If you bruise easily, you may want to consider investing in extra paintball equipment like some elbow pads, shin pads, cups for guys, and if you're a female player, purchase a cushion bra. Paintball can be a lot of fun when you have the right paintball gear!
